The Tour of Britain will be passing through Seahouses on Monday 4th September.  The route this year starts at Kielder Water and heads up to Bamburgh before turning south towards its eventual finish inBlyth.

More detail regarding the road closures affecting the area will be confirmed at a later date.

Signs and banners will be placed along the route to give visitors and residents clear identification of the race route and will be in place more than 2 weeks before the race.  Businesses and communities are encouraged to decorate the route with red and yellow and decorated bikes.  For more information contact tob@culturecreative.co.uk or go to the official website at nlandtob.com.
