The Seahouses Hostel is situated a mile inland from the fishing and holiday village of Seahouses which is fifty miles north of Newcastle and twenty five miles south of Berwick upon Tweed.

The Centre was originally a girl's school and farm outbuilding of a former vicarage. It was extensively modernised and enlarged in 1989 and refurbished in 2005. The centre is now used frequently by large groups such as school field trips and is loved by those doing outdoor pursuits.
