The classroom has laptops and PCs for students and tutor’s use. All machines are networked and connected to broadband and have a variety of software for the users’ convenience, including: Microsoft Office, Sage, Paint Shop Pro.

The room also has a scanner, printers and various other teaching aids such as a projector, flipchart and an interactive whiteboard.

The Computer Suite is currently in regular use and training courses held in this room have included:

    Digital Camera class
    Introduction to computers
    Introduction to the Internet
    Researching Family History using Internet

    Northumberland College courses are sometimes held at the centre and can be booked by contacting staff at the Berwick outreach centre. For more details regarding course start dates and course availability please call: 01289 302446

    The computer classroom is also available to community members and visitors for the use of computers and internet access.

    Printing, photocopying, scanning and laminating are available at a small charge.

    Trust staff will be on hand during daytime opening hours, to offer assistance.

    We ask that you ‘sign in’, not only for your own safety in order that staff are aware of your presence in the building, but also to enable us to provide monitoring information to our funders, to show usage of the classroom.

    Adjacent to the computer suite, are tea/coffee making facilities for your convenience.
