The classroom has 12 PCs for students use along with an additional PC for the tutor’s use. All machines are networked and connected to broadband and have a variety of software for the users’ convenience: Microsoft Office, Sage, Paint Shop Pro, Clicker, Claro Read, Out and About.

The room also has a scanner, two printers and various other teaching aids such as an overhead projector and laptop, a flipchart and an interactive whiteboard.

The Computer Suite is currently in regular use by Northumberland College and also the Pottergate Centre group.

Training courses held by the Northumberland College in this room include,

	Digital Camera class
	Introduction to computers
	Introduction to the Internet
	European Computer Driving Licence

The computer classroom is also available to community members and visitors for the use of computers and internet access.

Printing, photocopying, scanning and laminating are available at a small charge.

Trust staff will be on hand during daytime opening hours, to offer assistance.

We ask that you ‘sign in’, not only for your own safety in order that staff are aware of your presence in the building, but also to enable us to provide monitoring information to our funders, to show usage of the classroom.

Adjacent to the computer suite, are tea/coffee making facilities for your convenience.
