As a small market town, Seahouses has a great range of independent gift shops and food shops as well as a large Co-op.

There is a also a Fish Shop near the harbour called Swallowfish of Seahouses, They offer superb quality fresh & smoked fish and a wide range of seafood. Many locals prefer Swallowfish kippers to their better known cousins down the coast at Craster – why not try them both and make your own mind up?
There are double yellow lines on Seahouses Main Street as it is quite narrow and large vehicles need to pass. There is a large car park just behind the shops (to the North) which includes a free 1 hour short stay area situated closest to the shops. You still need a parking ticket, just press the green button for your free 1 hour ticket. There is also parking by the harbour.
For larger supermarkets visit Alnwick, here you will find a Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland, Lidl, Aldi and Co-op along with numerous independent Butchers, Bakers and other shops selling excellent quality local produce.
